FIABCI-Bulgaria Newsletter, November 2010

Group of St. Petersburg Realtors and investors made a business visit to Bulgaria. In this country are still many new and interesting investment opportunities.

From 10 to 17 September a delegation of Russian brokers and investors from St. Petersburg at the invitation of the President of FIABCI-Bulgaria Antonia Wirth visited on a business trip on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.

The purpose of the visit was, on the one hand, introduce new projects on the Bulgarian second home and investment property market, on the other - sharing experiences, establishing and deepening the working relationship between professional colleagues of the two countries – Russia and Bulgaria.

Optimally compiled business program, the selection of excursions, golf villas, yacht tours, sun bathing and visits to real estate have allowed to make new business contacts that will lead to mutually advantageous cooperation.

As acknowledged by Antonia Wirth, such a meeting was possible thanks to the extraordinary support of Mr. Alexander Romanenko – President Elect of FIABCI at 2011-2012, President of the ADVECS Real Estate Corporation, who himself led the delegation.

A busy program of events included a marketing session, and business presentations, business tours for real estate cities of Varna, Pomorie, Bourgas, Sozopol, Kavarna, Sunny Beach ect., round table discussions with government officials and Bulgarian counterparts. The trip has caused numerous responses in the Bulgarian press - both in newspapers and magazines and on television.

The tour provided an opportunity for Russian investors and realtors to get acquainted with the objects that are of interest for the Russian market. He confirmed the high level of interest in this kind of business communication, and therefore representatives of the Bulgarian side promised that the trip will be scheduled for the Russian partners. FIABCI Bulgaria plans to make new trade missions for Russian specialists at ski resorts in February 2011 and the SPA and balneology resorts in Bulgaria in May/June 2011. All this will help open up for Russian and other foreign clients’ new faces in the perception of a familiar brand in Bulgaria.
